Q. What is the difference between the 18mm cotton filters and the 11mm cotton filters?

A. Both 18mm cotton filters and 11mm cotton filters are needed for the multi functional machines such as the MD-NV60, MD3, MD4 and MD6. The smaller filter acting as a first catch for the dead skin cells being vacuumed by the machine, the larger being a secondary catch to keep out any debri that may have bypassed the first initial filter.

The MDPRO models only require the 11mm filter as they have built in canisters for the additional debri that may bypass the filter located behind the dermabrasion diamond tip.
