The Chanson Water® Stage 1 Ultra Filter provides amazing filtering capabilities of harmful pathogens, viruses, mold, spores, fungus and more without removing beneficial minerals from the water. The Chanson Stage 1 Ultra Filter is the worlds first “non clogging” .01 micron filter. It will provide SAFE, great tasting water regardless of source water issues and has passed bacterial tests running unfiltered lake water direct! The Chanson Ultra Filter element is made in the USA by the worlds largest membrane producer. Chanson then takes that element and creates our backwashing Ultra Filter housing. All Chanson plastics are food grade and BPA-free.

Non-Clogging Technology
Until now, .01 micron filters were not used in filtration units because of how easily they would clog - users would see reduced water flow after only 3-4 weeks of use! The Chanson Water® Stage 1 Ultra Filter can stay at full flow rate for up to two years due to its self-flushing system which prevents clogging and extends the life of the filter. UV light as a bacterial killer has many flaws. If the UV bulb gets even the slightest haze on it, the UV light becomes ineffective at killing bacteria, and the speed at which the water flows past the light makes it difficult to be effective (and you may not know when the bulb stops working). Most disturbingly, after a UV light kills bacteria, the bacteria remains in the water for you to consume!
