Bergamot (Non FCF) – Health Fusion Bergamot (Citrus aurantium) 100% Pure essential oil is Organically grown in Italy & is extracted from the peel using ONLY a cold pressed (without added heat) to yield a more beneficial & therapeutic oil than a steam distillation method. Bergamot oil has a tangy, fruity, citrusy & uplifting aroma. Health Fusion Bergamot essential oil is unaltered & therefore is NOT fuoro coumarine free (FCF) and still contains the naturally occurring chemicals that are not present in altered Bergamot oils which can cause increased photosensitivity if applied neat before sun exposure and therefore must be used with caution. They have not been manufactured through solvent extraction or chemical intervention because when solvents like hexane or other petroleum byproducts are used, they leave a residue, which can make the oil more like 95% pure instead of 100% pure. All Health Fusion oils are single species, and these oils are not cut extended or adulterated.
